Themed Areas

Themed Areas

New to Excursions 2017 are two dedicated themed areas focusing on: Food & Drink and Christmas Markets.

Food & Drink

If you are fed up with soulless motorway services visit Excursions 2017 where you can find alternative places to eat for your group offering local produce, friendly tea rooms, quirky and traditional options.

When planning any type of group travel consideration needs to be taken over when and where the next convenience stop will be. Whether it be a morning coffee stop, lunch time lay over or an appetizing afternoon tea break; planning the best pit stop isn’t always that easy to fit in with itineraries.

Excursions 2017 is introducing a dedicated themed area focusing on Food & Drink which will be showcasing a selection of the very best food stops, often coupled conveniently with attractions and destinations groups can enjoy along the way. Group organisers can discover a variety of food stops where behind the scene tours of production facilities are available, whilst also having the chance to enjoy taste testing and sampling some of the products showcased within this themed area at the show.

Nicholson’s Pub Group will be hosting a ‘pop up pub’ at Excursions creating an atmosphere of a typically British pub offering samples of cask ale or beer to enjoy! The Nicholson’s collection provides groups with warm and inviting hospitality, delivering a historic collection of iconic British Pubs since 1873.

Christmas Markets

Every year the UK enjoys an exciting array of local and visiting European Christmas Markets creating little pockets of atmospheric winter wonderlands. With steaming mugs of mulled wine, festive stalls selling handmade crafts, traditional gifts and unique decorations it’s a popular stop off for groups.

Excursions 2017 brings together Christmas markets from a variety of locations under one roof, providing all the information group travel organisers need to know about the individual market, where to stay and what else is nearby so you can make the most of the visit.
